What we collect

The macOS app itself collects no personal data. This website stores your account email, password hash, linked sign-in providers, purchase and license records, and email delivery status. At checkout it records a one-way hash of the network address plus limited browser information; download authorization creates a date-scoped log with a one-way network-address hash. We never receive your card details.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, fulfill purchases, deliver and recover keys, decide which builds your license covers, prevent abuse, handle refunds and disputes, answer support requests, and meet record-keeping obligations.

Who receives it

Paddle processes payments as merchant of record. GitHub or Google receives information when you choose that sign-in method. Resend delivers our account and license email. Cloudflare hosts the site, database, and build storage. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Checkout and download network-address hashes are kept for about 12 months. Account, license, and purchase records are kept for the life of the account and as long as required for entitlement, tax, fraud, and legal records. Email contents, including account links and keys, are scrubbed as soon as delivery succeeds, is suppressed, or permanently fails. Sent delivery records are then kept for about 30 days and failed delivery records for about 90 days before deletion. We delete or anonymize other information when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data, and may complain to your data-protection authority. We honor deletion requests except where tax, fraud, transaction, or legal record duties require retention. Renewal reminders can be turned off in account settings or through the one-click unsubscribe link; transactional mail remains enabled.

Security incidents

We use access controls, signed sessions, authenticated email, and minimized logs. If a breach creates a legally reportable risk, we assess it promptly and notify the relevant authority within 72 hours where the law requires that timetable.
